Hopefully, in today’s Venezuela many more military uprisings, mutinies, revolts and insurrections would take place, like the take-over of the military Battalion Mariano Montilla, of the Great Sabana in the State of Bolivar, on December 22, 2019, by several army officers joined by a group of local Pemones Indians…
Unfortunately, these are isolated rebellion cases that in spite of being laudable and courageous, they end up in the history books as symbolic great gestures, as a remembrance of our bitter and unequal struggle to recuperate Venezuela’s freedom and democracy…
Instead of achieving their ultimate goal, these unsung heroes – most of the time — they end up in military prisons, tortured, as well as shot and murdered by the repressive forces of the genocidal Maduro regime…
If uprisings of this kind would have been coordinated at a national level by members of the Venezuelan army – already sick and tired of the abusive tyranny — and together with local civilians they’d succeed in taking over military battalions, strongholds, and forts – all at the same time, all at the same hour — so that the outcry for freedom would resonate like an echo in each state, city, town, and each village – strong and loud — joined by all the citizens attending the call; in just a few hours Venezuela could be freed…
Worst case scenario, if only one state manages to overthrow the local Chavista government and seize power over all of its institutions, challenging the federal dictatorship’s power and freeing themselves from it; most surely this liberated state will be able to serve as an example to all the other states, and even be able to go to their aid, helping them organize their fight, to achieve the homeland’s freedom… So they can regenerate and reinstate – once and for all — our nation’s democracy…
The indigenous leaders from the State of Bolivar – where the latest uprising took place — are exhorting the civil population, as well as the National Guard to team up with the Liberator Army, by also offering the needed help to those heroes that are escaping the unjust justice, who seized weapons that they might use in their war against the cruel despotism that’s destroying Venezuela…
